If you have a little extra time while you are in Norfolk, you may want to check out the local attractions. However, please know that none of these will be as much fun as the wedding!

History at Your Feet - Tour several downtown houses and landmarks.
Botanical Garden - A 155-acre garden filled with thousands of plants in more than thirty themed gardens.
The Chrysler Museum of Fine Art - Pepper's Aunt Melanie notes that it is a lovely place to spend an afternoon. A FREE bus ride will take you to the museum.
MacArthur Memorial - History museum about native son Douglas MacArthur.
MacArthur Center - Shopping! This mall is across the street from the theatre.
Nauticus National Maritime Museum - Sea stuff of all kinds. Inside Nauticus is the FREE Hampton Roads Naval Museum and the equally FREE Battleship Wisconsin. Highly recommended.
Hunter House Victorian Museum - Take a guided tour of this refurbished 1894 home. The bus doesn't go here but you can walk if you're young and spry.
General Norfolk History - If you just have to know more about Norfolk!
